Whencementisreplaced with marble powderup to 10% weight ahigh strength concretewas achieved. Increasing the amount ofmarble powderdecreases the workability ofconcrete.
A phenomenal increase in the compressive strength of 46.80 MPa at 7 days for 10%replacement of marble powderincement contentwas noted and also showed an …
May 05, 2015· INFLUENCE OFMARBLEDUST AS PARTIALREPLACEMENT OF CEMENTINCONCRETEThese materials participate in the hydraulic reactions, contributing significantly to the composition and microstructure of hydrated product. Presently large amounts ofmarbledust are generated in natural stone processing plants with an important impact on environment and ...
PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT WITH MARBLE DUST POWDER Address for Correspondence
Due to urbanization, the usageof cementin the construction industry gets increased rapidly. Due to the increasing demand forcement, marble powderis used as a partialreplacement of cementfor ...
Due to these facts, in this work, an investigation was carried out on the utilization of wastemarblepowders ascement replacementmineral materials. In this context, marble powderreplacedcementat 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% in mass basis, and mortars were produced.
The use of wastemarble powder(dust) was proposed in partialreplacement of cement, for the production ofMortar and Concrete Mix. In particular, tests were conducted on the mortars andconcretemix cured for different times in order to determine their …
Marbledust can be mixed with various typesof cementto form precastmarblemoldedconcrete. There are two typesof cementthat can be mixedwith marblethat will form a product that is hard and resilient: type S and Portlandcement. The mixing methods, however, are the same.
3.2 COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH - Compressive strengthof concretemixes with various percentage ofmarbledust asreplacement of cementat age of 7 days and 28 days respectively are shown in Fig.3 and Fig.4. From Table 10 and 11 it can be observed that with thereplacement of cement with marbledust for 5% & 10% there is an increase in the strength at 7days as well as at 28 days.
A substitute orreplacementproduct forconcreteindustry needs to be found. The main parameter investigated in this study is M30 gradeconcretewithreplacementof sand by granitepowderby 0, 25 and 50% andcementwas partialreplacementwith silica fume, fly ash, slag and super plasticizer.
Sep 11, 2016· Objective The objective of the project is to study the behavior ofmarbledustconcretefor water curing. Also we are interested to study the compressive strength ofmarbledustconcretefor 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% & 20%.Replacement of cementbymarbledust for water curing.Theconcretespecimens are then allowed for 7 and 28 days for water curing .
Dec 31, 2018· The growing interest forconcretemainly focus on achieving higher strength and durability using various types of materials viz., waste materials, admixtures, plasticisers, etc. In this study, marble powderand exfoliated vermiculite are used as a partialreplacementmaterial forcementand fine aggregate, respectively.
